Many people have problems with FOFs. One of the key problems is that they are unsure of how to put more than one FOF on a certain area. This article shows exactly how to do that.

Like a regular FOF, simply set up the two control sectors. For the first control sector, set the floor and ceiling heights to that of where the lower FOF is supposed to be inside the level. After this has been done, proceed to the second control sector. Do the same thing, only with the floor & ceiling heights of where the higher FOF is supposed to be.

Now that the FOF heights have been set up, it's time to tag them. First, tag the target sector to an unused tag. Let's assume that this is a map with no other FOFs or anything in it, and use "1". Next, tag the linedefs of both control sectors with the effect to "1" as well. And that's it. The two FOFs are now set up.
If there is still confusion, here is an example WAD that shows how it is done:
This can be done with 3, 4, 5, or any other amount of FOFs up to 40. Also, any kind of FOF can be used, and any combination of different FOF types can be used. There is no limit. The only reason for using 2 FOFs of the same type in the tutorial here is to make the explanation simpler.
