There are two methods of creating a Timed Linedef Executor, which allows you to add a delay to a linedef executor effect, and makes linedef executor loops possible.
- Timed Linedef Executor - Gargoyle Box – This method requires less theory, and it is easier to find errors if it doesn't work. It is however not as accurate and might take longer to construct if you know how to use Upper Unpegged.
- Timed Linedef Executor - Upper Unpegged – This method allows you to control the delay extremely accurately, and takes much less time to construct. It is however harder to understand at first, and can lead to very confusing control sector layouts when making more complex effects.
