The SRB2 Wiki is a "wiki", or an editable encyclopedic website, based on the game Sonic Robo Blast 2. It was started on October 16, 2005. The Wiki is devoted to help both players of the game and editors of SRB2 modifications. Covering literally all aspects of SRB2, level design, and wadding in general, the staff has high hopes for this humble establishment.

Staff Levels

Included above in the Staff listing are three levels of "power": Head Admin, Maintainers, and Founders. All three levels get the same various administrative rights, with the exception of user promotion, which only the Head Admin gets. The rest leans on "expectations" and responsibilities of the three levels.

Head Admin

The Head Admin is essentially the "owner" of the Wiki, and more or less is expected to commit important actions and to not leave without notice. While it's advisable to check in with Maintainers before committing actions, the Head Admin does get more say than any. Another way to put it is that the Head Admin overlooks "creative control" of the site, including page content, making new pages, and also basic internal policies, etc. Of course, the Maintainers can help build upon these, as well as propose their own ideas for the Head Admin to consider. This is similar to how Digiku first made the formats for the Things, Levels, and Linedef Special pages. Likewise, Rob did some of his own work on the Sector Special pages.

Maintainers

The Maintainers have the responsibility of 1) performing administrative actions to an extent, and 2) being present for discussion of the Wiki's operations. Maintainers must "maintain a presence" by doing these in a timely manner, especially the latter. In practice, their main role is "to provide input." They have all of the administrative rights with the exception of user promotion. The Head Admin should check in with Maintainers before performing actions, and Maintainers can also propose their own ideas for the Head Admin. They essentially have some responsibility, but the Head Admin has more of it.

Founders

The Founders, i.e., Spazzo and Hotdog003, are so named as more of a decorative title, but still retain administrative rights except user promotion. In short, they don't necessarily have to be present and relied on, but they can still perform actions and discuss internal matters as appropriate. The working mechanism behind this is that the Maintainers are firmly understood as having more responsibility than the Founders.
