Trigger Once: No More Enemies

Is there more detailed instructions than that given on SRB2 Specials Reference? I am trying to make a level that uses this and I am clueless. If you know please tell how on this page or link to an article soon. Thanks! Anonymous Level Designer

Added a page for md2 models

Feel Free To Edit this with new content http://www.sepwich.com/hotdog/stars/index.php?title=MD2_Models ~Nomekop

Ok, we're back up

Ok, after that blip, it turns out that our directory was changed for some reason. We're now back up. ~Hotdog003

Just so you all know

Just so you all know, I've added a page on Custom Character Abilities. I've linked to it from the Character WADs page. ~Draykon

A Suggestion for the Site

I was thinking we could add a section more based on level design, like what makes a good level. Somthing along the lines of Mystic's Level 101 is what I'm thinking. Just a small idea, but...

Levels of Abstraction

I'm just wondering what the best way to arrange content is. I've noticed, for example, that from the level WAD page there are links to individual (as yet non-existent) pages for sectors, linedefs etc. While these are certainly fundamental concepts, I'm curious as to whether you think this is the most effective method of organisation? I'd be tempted to have all those as subsections of the level WAD page. The argument applies to a lot of other sections, too.

Mystic's "WAD_editor" page

Looking over the recent changes, I noticed Mystic made a new version of the WAD editors page, but it's not linked on the main site. This is because he named his page "WAD editor" instead of "editors".

Though, I don't know if this is intentional or not. -Di 10/19/05

HI

Fix'd: WAD editors is now a redirect. Hotdog003 18:48, 14 March 2006 (CST)

TNG2W's New Function

Wouldn't this page have to be edited to reflect the new purpose of this wiki? Just a thought.

--Yoshibot 22:23, 13 March 2006 (CST)

Nice thought. Hotdog003 18:48, 14 March 2006 (CST)

Secret Levels

Should we have a page about the secret levels in the normal game? We have a page for emblems...

Secert Levels Response

Hmmmmm...that might be a good idea...

--Raz 21:23, 27 March 2006 (CST)

Well, is there more of them? The only one I found that isn't explicitly stated in the game is Red Volcano 1.

Who are You?

Just wondering, who are you who is talking to me?

--Raz 18:39, 28 March 2006 (CST)

On certain Wikicities, I am User:Revidnioc. But only on some of them (Pikmin Wiki, Homestar Runner Wooky).

Add "changes in latest patch" or something to the Extra Block

The Extra Block on the front page could have a list of brief information about the latest patches, links to download them, that sort of thing. Clicking on the links for each patch could lead to a page of info for that patch.

Remove plurals

We should remove plurals from the title of all our articles, and redirect the plural to the singular form for consistancy.

Easter and other holidays page?

Since this game changes itself around Easter and Christmas, how about a page for each explaining the changes? Especially for Easter, since it adds an additional quest by putting in the egg hunt. (For that matter, I am lost on two specific eggs...) --69.248.236.62 17:28, 20 April 2006 (CDT)

Easter/Christmas Responce

Hey! That might not be a bad idea! You can set up the page yourself if you didn't know. By the way, who are you?

--Raz 20:46, 20 April 2006 (CDT)

Easter/Christmas Re: Response

CGally81. I hadn't yet created an account. I'll start the page, but I'll need others to fill in the information regarding Easter egg locations.

The page will be called Holidays. Please add the link to that page where appropriate.

Suggestion for extra main page block

How about putting gameplay-related articles in the upper green block, and having a bunch of editing information on the red one? For instance, the articles explaining where the emblems are would be in the green block, and the articles explaining how to make a character would be in the red one.

--Mystic 18:44, 23 April 2006 (CDT)

Possible. I have to go over it with HD03, however. He actually has quite a few good ideas for the extra block, he just can't decide between them. --Spazzo 15:11, 24 April 2006 (CDT)

SOC Editing

You should add an article purely based on SOC Editing since everyone is complaining.

A Other Idea For The Site

A page on only level design and how to make your levels enjoyable would be helpful in a SRB2-Wiki like Stars.

--Raz 10:16, 26 May 2006 (CDT)

I think something is missing from character wads...

How to make super sonic skins. I have seen one moronic attempt at super tails (he could only go at sonic's max speed, he used speed thok instead of flying, etc.). I think that such stuff could be avoided if that was added to the Character Wads page...

Main Page

Hey guys! I'd just like to point out, that TNG2W's main page hasn't been updated in almost three months. For a user-contributed Wiki, this sure seems pretty dead.

At least add this to the list in the corner: Emerald tokens

-Mystic 02:03, 5 June 2006 (CDT)

DEAD I tell you DEAD

  • looks over his shoulder to see a skeleton* Yeah, um, this place is dead like Spazzo said. I will

try to help it when I can, but my knowledge with wadding is minimal. It would be nice if someone could put up stuff on how to make models, since almost nobody knows how to do it.

  • I think I know how to add models to SRB2, but I haven't tried it. Anyway, there isn't too much to update with, now that all the new features have been seddled on. We need to find something! Draykon 11:59, 6 July 2006 (CDT)

Go and Search

While this really has no meaning as a discussion of the main page, I can't find any other reasonable place to put it. In case you haven't noticed, we have a "GO" and a "Search" button, right beside eachother to the left. While I can assume editing that would require editing the source code, what exactly should we do about it? Eradicate the "search" button and just have it be GO? Put an advanced search page? --Spazzo 16:52, 2 December 2006 (PST)

Re: Go and Search

GO is meant for going straight to pages with the exact name you inputted. Search is used for searching with the terms you specified. They're both very different things. --JJames19119 15:07, 18 December 2006 (PST)
