MAP40, Christmas Hunt Zone, abbreviated as CHZ, is a secret level in Sonic Robo Blast 2 v1.09.4. It is a Christmas-themed Emerald Hunt level, where you have to find and collect three Chaos Emeralds in order to finish the level. An emerald radar at the bottom of the screen tells you how close you are to each emerald.
Walkthrough
The level layout consists of a frozen lake in the center and an outer ring surrounding the stage. The locations of the emeralds depend on the difficulty level.
Easy
- Look for a hole in the ice on the frozen lake that allows you to go underwater, where you will find an emerald.
- An emerald is located inside the chimney attached to the platform that you spawn underneath. Use a nearby series of platforms to reach the top of the platform and jump into the chimney.
- An emerald lies between the small presents that are in front of you from the spawn point.
Normal
- Go to the large presents on the outer ring and walk behind them to find a gap with an emerald.
- On the outer ring, next to the platform with the chimney, is a short tunnel whose entrances are lined with spikes. An emerald is inside the tunnel.
- On the outer ring, there is a series of platforms that move up and down. Jump across them to reach a pillar with an emerald.
Hard
- On the outer ring, look for a hole in the floor filled with water. Jump into the hole and try to stay close to the center to land on a small platform surrounded by a death pit. The platform contains an emerald and a spring leading back up.
- On the outer ring, there is a series of platforms that move up and down. Jump across them to reach a pillar and then jump to another pillar to the left to reach an emerald.
- On the outer ring, between the moving platforms and the tunnel whose entrances are lined with spikes, there is a large wall. Walk behind it to find three platforms. An emerald lies on the highest one.
