Emblem locations

Sonic

In the section with the rising quicksand, once you reach the top of the path in the room with the long double crusher, turn left the moment you enter and jump off the side. There is a platform far below which has the emblem and a set of springs to get back up once you collect it. However, you might not necessarily be able to get it if the sand has already risen up past this platform. Thus, to get this emblem, you have to complete the rising sand section not only before the sand catches up with you, but with a lot of time to spare. You may have to practice to be able to reach the room this quickly.

Tails

In the dark column room just after the puzzle buttons, turn left and backwards, and fly up towards the wall. There is a small niche in the wall featuring a Whirlwind Shield. However, the wall behind the shield can also be busted to reveal Tails's emblem.

Knuckles

In the first dark stone room, you will notice some rings leading into the quicksand. There is a secret path hidden underneath; just sink down into the spot with the rings to find it. In the ivy-covered room this path leads to, the emblem is on the ceiling, concealed behind the pillars at the far end of the room. The pillars are not climbable, so to reach the emblem, you will have to climb the wall of the room instead.
