Has really no one felt like talking to you here? –SonicMaster 14:16, 12 November 2007 (PST)

Not until now, apparently. ;) They mostly poke me on IRC. --Oogaland 14:18, 12 November 2007 (PST)

If SLumpEd is open source, why not make an SRB2LumpEd? That way you could have a lump editor with no issues... –SonicMaster 15:40, 19 December 2007 (PST)

But he has to finish another project! :O ~DarkWarrior Talk • Contribs 18:00, 19 December 2007 (PST)

Maybe one day. :) --Oogaland 13:49, 22 December 2007 (PST)

Convert Sector to Stairs in SRB2DB

This command is glitchy. It only makes stairs going eastward. Even if I tell it to distribute it by height, SRB2DB will do it by width. –SonicMaster 14:32, 29 December 2007 (PST)

Yup. I'd suggest you ignore it and use the gradient tools. --Oogaland 14:42, 29 December 2007 (PST)

How do you use the gradient tools? I've never figured it out.---Cheese the Food 16:23, 29 December 2007 (PST)

Make the sectors in the positions you want them, set the floor/ceiling/brightness of the first and the last of them to the correct values, select them all in order, choose the appropriate gradient tool. Done. --Oogaland 13:09, 31 December 2007 (PST)

I, personally, use the raise floor by 8 bits tool. I select the stair's sectors, press Home, deselect the bottom one, press Home again, etc. ~Kaysakado  •  Talk  •  21:13, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

When you use the gradient tool, do you have to make all the different sectors, or can you do one for the top, one for the bottom, and one for the middle? ---Cheese the Food 15:03, 1 January 2008 (PST)

I create the stairs with the Convert Sector to Stairs tool, and then rotate it if necessary. –SonicMaster 16:00, 1 January 2008 (PST)

Cheese: The gradient tool only adjusts the heights. You have to make the sectors. --Oogaland 13:55, 2 January 2008 (PST)

Did I explain it wrong?

Wait. I'm not sure if it is the nodebuilder that is causing the Hall of Mirrors in seemingly random places in Botanic Serenity Zone. Is it? –SonicMaster 23:25, 22 January 2008 (PST)

Could be. Most common cause of HOM is missing textures, but if the nodebuilder chokes, that can cause it, too. --Oogaland 15:31, 23 January 2008 (PST)

And I doubt Digi would uh...leave missing textures... Unless he was using WadAuthor for NiGHTS mapping, which by the way, is not a very good idea... –SonicMaster 15:34, 11 February 2008 (PST)

Wow about OLDC

You have made THREE top 5 maps for divisions. Rocky Pass is #5 in 1P; Four Seasons is #2 in Match; and Four Seasons Circuit is #2 in Circuit.

I wonder. Based on the current trend, if you make a Four Seasons CTF, is it going to get #2 in its contest as well as #2 overall in contest maps? *shot* –SonicMaster 17:39, 11 March 2008 (PDT)

SRB2 Doom Builder - Installation

If you know me well, you'll know where I'm going about this; Installation IS NOT required for ANYTHING! Let us keep it that way. There are such things as Self-Extracting Archives. SRB2 uses one. Use THAT instead of forcing installation upon the people who can't do so. I strongly suggest updating SRB2 Doom Builder in a way that removes the installation. And it also will be a very good idea to do so with SRB2 Workbench. If this isn't rectified, I'm probably going to drive everyone insane complaining. --Henix879, Graphics Expert and Soccer in Training 15:00, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

SRB2 Doom Builder needs to modify the registry for some of its features, and for that you need an installation. Besides, I doubt you can contact Oogaland via the Wiki. --SpiritCrusherTalkContribs 15:14, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

Ah, god dammit. >.< --Henix879, Graphics Expert and Soccer in Training 14:25, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
