Suggestion: Incorporate Var1/Var2 descriptions in these tables. I'll show an example later; just drop me a note on my Talk page to remind me. --Digiku talk 08:36, 14 December 2007 (PST)
With all states listed on this page, it would be half a megabyte in size. For comparison, the Character WAD Tutorial is only 30 kilobytes long. The resulting page would be ridiculously long, and you can easily look all of this up in SOCEdit. Perhaps some of the states can be listed in the wiki pages of the things they are used by instead or something? (Obviously, we can't do this with all 1700+ states)
As for this page itself, it's obviously going to be far too big when complete; so yeah, it's not really necessary to me either. Into the Wiki bin it goes. =P --Monster Iestyn Talk15:32, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Incorporating some of the states to the Things pages might be a good idea (except when there are tons of states like with Brak Eggman). That was a huge list. But, I think we need at least a plain text-only list of states, so every time we need to use Linedef type 425, we don't need to open the SOCEdit. Something like this:
1 - S_PLAY_STND Standing
2 - S_PLAY_TAP1 Boredom frame #1
3 - S_PLAY_TAP2 Boredom frame #2
4 - S_PLAY_RUN1 Running frame #1
