Sonic Robo Blast Version 1.4 is a remake of the original game released 22 years later. Although not made by the original developer Sonniku (rather by a small group dubbed Team Earless), it has been given his blessing and is considered to be an official update to the original game. The remake aims to give every part of SRB1 a complete overall to bring it in line with the quality of official Sonic titles.
