MAPI1, Water Temple Zone, abbreviated as WTZ, is the first track of the Basic Cup and the first track of Kart Mania Reborn overall. It takes place in an underground cavern flooded with water and has parts of some ruins that the players drive on. The track's overall theme is a reference to the first act of Deep Sea Zone, the third Zone in Sonic Robo Blast 2 v2.2.

Although it shares its name with a recurring Temple in the Legend of Zelda series, it is confirmed by Super Chris that the naming is entirely coincidental.
