MAPAU, Inner Sanctum Zone, abbreviated as ISZ, is the eighth and final emerald stage in Mystic Realm, containing the Master Emerald. It is accessed by activating the Mystic Shrine in Starlight Temple Zone. The level is very short, consisting only of a shrine that holds the Master Emerald. In old versions of Mystic Realm, the Master Emerald was a collectible item that let Sonic transform into Hyper Sonic, but in the current version it can no longer be collected. Thus, the level's only purpose now is to hide another emblem. Because the level is so short, it is easy to obtain two extra lives from the time bonus.
Gold emblem ( 宝 )
The emblem floats over the Master Emerald, in plain sight. Jump on top of the Master Emerald to collect it.
