Noxious Factory Zone was a Match stage in v1.09. It was an attempt to create a "hard" match stage with actual environmental hazards. It was generally disliked since a lot of stuff was nearly impossible to do without getting hit, especially when lagging. It was removed in v1.09.4, but it returned for v2.0 with about half the map remade, adding a new outside area.
