Problem with Race
I haven't played Warped Woods in a netgame, but even though you tried to balance those characters (which I really didn't know until now), it isn't NEARLY as fun as Tails or Knuckles, even with the shortcuts, because of how slow they go. I think someone should just make a Tails-specific Race map or a Knuckles-specific Race map. That still leaves it lopsided for each map, but it is a form of balance. It does solve the problem of Race maps never being fun for those two characters. –SonicMaster 19:17, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
That would be the main reason why I think Tails and Knuckles need some tweaking to make them more desirable to play. It is extremely hard to balance maps properly in this current version, because as you said, the alternate paths combined with slow speed is a lot more boring than simply plowing through as Sonic. --Jazz 19:23, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
Algorithm for CTF base distance
Eh, maybe I was wrong. Look at Opposition Zone in the map editor. The maximum distance a flag can be between bases is when a flag is near the teleporters. Also, look at Greenery Cave Zone by JJames19119. –SonicMaster 19:53, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
