User talk:Scarbo/Proposed Grading System
Well, you got it right in that "big-name" (if we'll even use that) shouldn't be the highest in point value. --Digiku talk 00:34, 8 November 2007 (PST)
IMO, "big name" isn't descriptive enough. At first, I thought it was referring to the number of characters in the mod name, which shouldn't be a factor at all. "The super awesome mod of super-ness because I love being super" should not earn a mod so and so number of points. How about you add 2 points for each release, or something amongst those lines? Perhaps you should have a value be defined by the amount of months/years the mod has been out.
I'm just throwing ideas out there. Regardless, I'm interested with this concept you've come up with, and I'd love to see it played around with. --Spazzo 12:53, 8 November 2007 (PST)
Well, my system was inspired by the variables that Digiku was throwing out. I added point values... "Big name," I believe, means especially popular among the popular. –SonicMaster 13:27, 8 November 2007 (PST)
Yes, "popular among the popular" is what I meant. And in my eyes, there are only three who fit that description: Mystic Realm, Acid Missile, and Blue Heaven. So, uh... o_O --Digiku talk 23:59, 8 November 2007 (PST)
