Talk:SRB2Fun
Page protection
Does anyone remember why this page was protected? --Digiku talk 22:47, 7 November 2007 (PST)
00:30, August 11, 2007 Dark Warrior (Talk | contribs | block) protected "SRB2Fun" (If this page is going to display a rewards system, I'd rather not leave it open.) (change protection) ...Which I never actually applied to the page. I was going to make special notes on people who earned voices... I don't think it matters that much though... ~DarkWarrior Talk • Contribs 11:03, 8 November 2007 (PST)
Question
I've heard that you can use #SRB2Fun to set up netgames, is this true? ~HoneyComb~ 13:30, 16 November 2007 (PST)
Yes, in more ways than one. ~Kaysakado • Talk 14:23, 16 November 2007 (PST) Thanks for answering ^_~ ~~~~
Well, to be exact you can but it should be stated that you can't join the channel, and say "lolz i have a server up please come and play" and part the channel, you will more than likely be banned from the channel. --Lord Chaos 12:04, 21 November 2007 (PST)
Instructions on joining?
I think we should put in instructions on how to get on IRC, via mIRC or some other client. It seems like a no-brainer to add even a page's worth. --Digiku talk 15:32, 16 November 2007 (PST)
Would that really be benefitial to #SRB2Fun though? ~DarkWarrior Talk • Contribs 16:22, 16 November 2007 (PST)
I don't care whether it's beneficial or not to #SRB2Fun. I'm talking about the wiki, damn it. It's beneficial to the Wiki. If we want to close off #SRB2Fun from the general public (I don't mind either way,) we could just provide a link to srb2.org's IRC page. That provides instructions on joining, I think. --Digiku talk 13:13, 21 November 2007 (PST)
SRB2MS: The Master Server Bot
Outdated information: "SRB2MS is also the only user in #srb2fun to have a voice." This is old information and must be updated, FriendCodeBot and CIA-1 are also bots run in #srb2fun and as such have a voice, and also should be mentioned in the article. カラム 03:18, 27 January 2008 (PST)
While I don't go there,
I want to know what happens if you get kicked. Does that mean you have to wait a while before you come back? If you do have to wait a while...we could mention that here, warning some people not to do it. If instareturning is not allowed, mentioning so will cause less of it. –SonicMaster 15:06, 18 February 2008 (PST)
You don't have to wait, but autojoin in a client is not allowed, and you just get a kick+ban with instant ban removal to break the function. ~DarkWarrior Talk • Contribs 16:27, 18 February 2008 (PST)
History
How about a history section? --Kinhoshi 18:04, 06 April 2008 (EST)
I would like that as well. I have only been in the chatroom since March 2006. I would love to have a history section on this. IIRC, There was a post by JTE on the MB a long time ago that had a bit of history about the chatroom. I don't know how accurate it was though. --Sonict 09:31, 10 April 2008 (PDT)
You'll need someone who knows it. I've only been here 3 years, myself. ~DarkWarrior Talk • Contribs 10:07, 10 April 2008 (PDT)
