Thing Type 100, the Blue Crawla, is a basic enemy that moves at an incredibly slow rate. It's not considered much of a big threat, but they can be strategically used to be a danger. One example is putting near edges.

Badnik History

Origin: Sonic RoboBlast 1 Story: The Crawla is to Sonic Roboblast as Motobug is to Sonic 1. It made its very first appearance as a Red ball with eyes and legs. All it did was walk back and forth on a path. It's second appearance was as blue and red circles with treads and a canon always aimed to the top left of the screen in SRB2 TGF. In there it preformed the same action, going no father than it's path movement allowed. Its next appearance was in the Christmas series of Demos where it then received 4 to 7 new directions to go with its TGF sprites. It wasn't until Christmas demo .96 that the Crawla received its first new set of sprites that were used up until SRB2 version 1.09.4. The Crawla would then see one last update in 1.1, or the #SRB2fun Match mode demo as it's also known as. The Crawla from 1.1 is the Crawla you see today.
