Botanic Serenity is a so-called "mini-mod" for Sonic Robo Blast 2, created by Digiku. Its main stage is a very processor-intensive NiGHTS-mode stage. Additionally, two unlockable maps are included in the pack, as well as a special secret. It is highly liked for its detailed environment.
Currently, Botanic Serenity only works in SRB2 v1.09.4. An update is being developed for SRB2 v2.0.

Because Botanic Serenity Zone is a very resource-intensive level, Botanic Serenity is distributed in three versions: High-End, Mid-End, Low-End, with an unofficial Ultra High-End. The High-End version features the best visuals, but requires a high-end PC (A 2.2GHz PC should be able to run the game at 16fps in Software mode, 640×400). The Mid-End version features better performance, at the sacrifice of some visuals. Low-End version sacrifices most of High-End graphics for the best running speed.
Botanic Serenity dates back to the beginning of the SRB2 v1.08 era, in early 2004. Though actual development time spans across two years, active development time has only taken place for about one year. It has been worked on from January 2004-August 2004, and then from August 2005-December 2005. Since then, development time has been on and off.
Botanic Serenity was released on August 20th of 2006. It was released as a 9.04 Megabyte zip file, containing the levels, and graphic/music data wads. It was built for and only works on SRB2 1.09.4.
The final unlockable of Botanic Serenity was completed on April 25, 2008, more than one-and-a-half years since the game's release. It's available using the details provided in the game itself.
Botanic Serenity had a Version 2 in the works, abbreviated BSZv2, although it was cancelled early on in development. It was focused on improving the performance and rectifying some problems, particularly with the unlockables.
