MAPF8, Iron Turret Zone, is the ninth Capture the Flag level in Sonic Robo Blast 2v2.1. It is set in a THZ-themed valley with pools of viscous slime, with concrete bases to each side and several sniping towers. It is one of the oldest CTF stages made for SRB2, having been featured in most SRB2 versions since Demo 4.32. The original version was much simpler, with smaller bases and a largely empty centerpiece. It was removed from the game in v2.0 due to its negative reputation, but it was remade for v2.1, keeping the general layout but adding a new back-end to the bases and redesigning the centerpiece.
