Talk:Doom Builder
Flipflop the significance
Idea: Compared to vanilla DB, SRB2DB has become the de facto standard, even ousting vanilla DB. Also, SRB2DB needs an expanded article, covering how to use it and other general information. Therefore, SRB2DB should be the main article, while vanilla DB should be a section of the article. Right now, it's the other way around. --Digiku 08:45, 15 September 2007 (PDT)
Installation Hell
It's not required, so I strongly suggest not doing it. It ticks me off greatly that over 95% of all good map editors are installation required, which is why some people can't use them. The only DECENT map editor I have access to is DeePsea, and even THAT sucks because you have to buy the full map editor. Programs don't need installation and never did. Let's keep it that way. --Henix879, Graphics Expert and Soccer in Training 15:01, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
SRB2 Workbench deserves a section too?
SRB2 Workbench is a map editor, has already (huh?) two release candidates and fairly functional. Sometimes I use it when SRB2DB can't deal with some situations. I think SRB2WB deserves a section here. --Ezer'Arch|עֶזֶר'AρχTalk 23:38, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Why here? It is not a version of Doom Builder, so it should have its own article. But on the other side, it only has a private download and isn't being developed anymore, so I don't think an article would make much sense. --SpiritCrusherTalk • Contribs 08:14, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
