"The speed of the current is determined by the length of the control linedef." -- I have a question here: what's the speed (FU/tic or FU/tic²) per control linedef length? --Ezer'Arch|עֶזֶר'AρχTalk 17:54, 25 December 2011 (CST)
Whatever it is, it'll be measured in "FU/tic", since "FU/tic²" would be for acceleration, not speed. Just pointing that out.
As for the actual value itself, perhaps I'll go and check the source code now for that... --Monster Iestyn Talk 07:13, 26 December 2011 (CST)
I wasn't sure if the current was a force (that accelerates the object) or just sets a constant speed to an object. My idea is to synch the texture scrolling (LD 513) with the current speed to make water FOFs with current. If I set the same linedef length for both current and scrolling, I notice the character is carried 2x faster than texture scrolling speed. This doesn't make much sense visually. --Ezer'Arch|עֶזֶר'AρχTalk 18:37, 26 December 2011 (CST)
