MAP77, Warped Woods Zone is the eighth Circuit level in Sonic Robo Blast 2 v2.0. It takes place in a polluted forest with plenty of damaging slime throughout the whole level. The level first appeared in the September/October 2008 OLDC, where it placed first with a score of 6.57, being quite controversial due to its large amount of hazards and expansive length.

Walkthrough

At the beginning, turn right and jump up a ledge. In the middle of the room, there is another ledge, from which you should jump directly to the exit. Then turn right and hit the first Star Post. Find your way around the trees and barrels and then jump through the tree trunk with a wooden arrow in front of it. Quickly turn around to either side and run up the staircase (the right one is closer to the next turn, but makes it harder to turn around). Jump down to the left, but beware of the two slime falls. Run up the staircase heading left and proceed until you reach a row of yellow springs. After turning left, crossing a wooden bridge and turning left once more, you will get to a staircase leading down into a factory. The factory consists of a slime pool in the middle with conveyors around it that push you in. Run around the pool and take the blue springs on the other side. After crossing another bridge, you have to turn left and cross a pool of toxic liquid by jumping across three platforms. After that, head down two staircases that turn left to reach the finish line.

Shortcuts

There are two shortcuts in this stage, one of which is accessible only as Tails and Knuckles. After the first Star Post, you can fly or climb up directly to the bridge above you, thus bypassing the tree trunk and the staircases. Additionally, at the staircase heading up left after that section, you can drop down to the left at the top of the stairs. To your left is a small pool of slime that contains a red diagonal spring. This spring leads to a small shortcut which allows you to bypass the row of yellow springs.
