January/February
- Host: FuriousFox
- Then-current SRB2 version: v2.0.4
This was the first of two contests in which every winning map was made by Blade, CoatRack, sphere or a combination of the three, the second being January/February 2012. Together, this trio dominated the v2.0 era of the OLDC: Of the 67 winning maps during this period, 27 featured involvement from at least one member of the trio. Overall, they participated in 14 of the 18 contests, winning at least one division each time. Brothers Blade and CoatRack joined the SRB2 development team on the evening the contest began, making sphere the only entrant with a golden user title; he would later join the development team as well. Sunkist Falls Zone was added to the official CTF rotation in v2.1 as Molten Fissure Zone. Eggmansion Zone Act 1 was a remake of a level from the March/April 2009 OLDC. Despite a positive reception, CoatRack was ultimately dissatisfied with the level and remade it again for inclusion in his level pack Chaos Domain. Buzzards Bay Zone will crash the game unless it is loaded in a map editor first; this is caused by placing a MAINCFG
lump between the map lumps.

March/April

The Match and CTF divisions of this contest were considered to be rather weak. Complete Chaos Zone was made in just 60 minutes and had no weapon rings, but was still considered to be better than most of the other entries. Sloped Domain Zone received a moderately high score and missed the first place of the Match division by only 0.09 points despite not having a thok barrier, which at the time was required to keep players from walking outside the level boundaries. Clockwork Towers Zone was added to the official CTF rotation in v2.1. Egg Hall Zone is the only Circuit level submitted by Blade that did not win its division, although it was still positively received.

May/June
- Host: FuriousFox
- Then-current SRB2 version: v2.0.6
The outcome of the CTF division in this contest was quite close for a long period of time, with three of the maps having very similar averages and receiving highly contrasting votes. The Race division was even closer, and the outcome was constantly being changed by last-minute votes. Tidal Cave Zone eventually won by a margin of 0.07 points. The Single Player division was considered to be mediocre, although none of the maps received exceptionally low scores. Diamond Blizzard Zone and Radiant Cavern Zone were added to the official Match and CTF rotation in v2.1, respectively.

July/August
- Host: FuriousFox
- Then-current SRB2 version: v2.0.6
The official results for this contest were given 12 days after the voting deadline, due to FuriousFox's unavailability and a week-long downtime of srb2.org. The Single Player and Match winners were the first stages since the release of v2.0 to have an average score above 8. Blade won the Single Player division with a completely remade version of Sapphire Coast Zone Act 1, which had won the Single Player division of the November/December 2007 contest. The Race division consisted solely of rush jobs.
Three submissions were not allowed to the contest. One author did not provide a working link to their map and the other two maps were unplayable due to lack of proper player starts.

This contest had few entries, most of which were considered to be sub-par. However, the only well-received map, Northern Desert Zone, scored above 8. Because of the low turnout, the submission period was extended by a week. However, most of the additional entries submitted during this week were rejected because they were either unplayable or intentionally bad joke maps created solely to fill up the contest. This left Stupid Circuit Zone, also a joke map, as the only entry in the Circuit division and it therefore automatically won despite its low score.
Similarly to Not a Thokfest Zone from the November/December 2009, Stupid Circuit Zone is a gimmick map that restricts the player's ability to jump. It is set in zero gravity, but coming in contact with a floor or ceiling will cause the player to attach to it. This changes the physics in a number of ways: Players are able to walk through the air without losing height, although they can only jump while on solid ground. Jumping causes the player float slowly towards the ceiling (or the floor when in reverse gravity). The stage consists of platforms placed above a large death pit, the objective being to find a safe path from platform to platform. While many voters found the general idea of the map appealing, it was generally dismissed as a poor execution of the concept, even by its author.

November/December
- Host: FuriousFox/Mystic
- Then-current SRB2 version: v2.0.6
Although this contest was considered an improvement of the previous one, the Single Player and Circuit divisions still had a large percentage of weak maps. The winner of the Single Player division, Twilight Isles Zone, was a very large and ambitious map that combined more traditional platforming sections with light puzzle elements. It was generally praised, although some of its sections were criticized for being unintuitive and confusing. The low number of votes for Match and CTF resulted in very close decisions in those divisions. Had votes after the deadline not been excluded, Setting Sands Zone would have won in the Match division and Volcanic Temple Zone in the CTF division. Orange Stream Zone only has 7 Match Starts, so loading the map with more than 7 players will crash the game. Celestial Sanctuary Zone was added to the official Match rotation in v2.1.
While the contest was running, FuriousFox spontaneously left the community without further notice and could not be contacted. No official results were declared until Mystic eventually stepped in, over a month after the voting deadline. Almost all late votes were excluded, and to address the lengthy delay and other issues with the OLDC, several substantial rules changes were put into effect for the next contest.
