MAP09, Deep Sea Zone Act 3, abbreviated as DSZ3, is the third act of Deep Sea Zone, the third zone in Sonic Robo Blast 2 v2.2. It is a boss fight against the Sea Egg in a mostly flooded arena.

Walkthrough

You start out on one of the four corners of the arena.The arena is a square-shaped room with a thin layer of water at the bottom and five pits in an X-shape. The pits are guarded by grids to prevent you from falling into them. Eggman starts out above the central pit, for then going into it. He will randomly choose a pit and pop out of it. Once he pops out of it, he will release an electricity ring around him and shoot missiles at you. Jump over the electricity ring and dodge the missiles, and then jump towards him to hit him. He will then dive back underwater and repeat his attack.

After hitting Eggman five times, he will enter his pinch phase. While his fundamental attack stays the same, he will only shoot three times per pit before retreating again. Additionally, he will spawn two fake balloon replicas of himself that will pop out of the other pits and shoot at you as well. Hitting the fake Eggmen will cause you to be bounced back. After hitting the real Eggman three more times, he will be defeated and the Egg Capsule will rise up on one of the four outer platforms. Step on the Egg Capsule to end the level.
