LumpMod is a raw lump editor that allows people to directly alter lumps inside WAD files. It is a command-line program, and requires some knowledge to get to work, but it provides a large amount of power. A documentation file is included for use.

Being a command-line program, LumpMod can make use of shell scripts or Windows batch files. This makes it very useful for jobs which GUI editors make inconvenient. It also supports lowercase lump names, so SRB2 character WADs are compatible.

LumpMod's functions are totally raw. It does not convert images, sounds, or other data to their proper formats if they're not in their proper formats already.

The current version, v0.2.1, was released in 2003.
