SRB2 Riders is a game mod and is a collaborative effort by members of the SRB2 community. It pits characters on air boards and has them race through racetracks, both the gameplay and the levels being based on the game Sonic Riders.

Current release information
Current features
- Air Tank -- The Air Tank lets you get on top of your board when it's powered up. Get it filled by performing tricks, by grabbing an Air Capsule, or by getting a new Level Up. If the Air Tank is empty, you'll start walking again.
- Uber Run -- Once you're riding on your board, you'll start going forward automatically at high speeds. The speed is normal on Race mode. Any other gametype will decrease the speed.
- Boosting -- When you have enough Air Points to spare, press the Boost button to be shot forward at a higher speed.
- Speed Counter -- Tells you the current speed you're at.
- Laps Limit -- The minimum set of laps you can have is now 3, while the maximum is 99.
Special abilities
Rail Grind
If a Speed character jumps onto a rail, they will get Air Points and continue to do so until they get off.
Air Rings Flight
If a flight character goes through an Air Ring, they will fly straight with low gravity, get Air Points with each Air Ring, and be propelled towards a new Air Ring or onto the ground, usually following a shortcut.
Rock Breaking
If a power character comes in contact with a rock or some sort of obstacle, they will get Air Points and smash the boulder to pieces, sometimes leading them to a shortcut.
Characters
Characters are divided into three varying types: Speed, Flight, and Power with the exception of Super Sonic. The Character Select menu will remove everybody but Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, but will still be available to play in netgames.
Levels
Currently, there are 25 levels in this mod. The first seven are the direct recreations of Sonic Riders' Heroes levels, and the only maps with the Special Abilities shortcuts. The following five levels are completely original, The Babylon levels. The following four levels are from Flame The Hedgehog's Sonic R mod, which you can unlock by simply clearing Single Player mode. The last 8 maps are the ones from the Mirror Cup mode. Another unlockable, and the only levels that will allow you to play as Super Sonic. They are simply the Heroes levels, flipped. Unlike the Mario Kart franchise, textures like Metal City's billboards will not be flipped.
