You start the fight with 10 rings. For the first four hits, Fang will bounce around the cabin and will either fire corks or throw bombs at you. After that, he will be left open to attack before he starts bouncing again. The corks themselves are straight-shot projectiles, shot three at a time. The corks take priority over invincibility, and will push you away, regardless of whether you already got hit or not. Jump at Fang, and with each successful hit, he'll take longer for each bounce attack.
After five hits, Fang will throw bombs at the roof of the train car, destroying the walls with it. He now drops bombs with each bounce. Be careful around the bombs, as they have high knockback.
After three more hits, Fang is defeated and bounces away from the train car, only for him to hit an oncoming sign.
Upon completion of the level, Fang gets unlocked as a playable character.
Speedrunning this boss is fairly easy once you know how Fang works. While Fang is bouncing, his bottom half can damage you, but if you can get a height advantage you can knock him down without waiting for him to taunt, though his hitbox is unpredictable at times, and you may end up being hit. In certain cases, Fang can be trapped in a corner, being damaged multiple times in a row without bouncing away.
