Spring Shell (Green)

Thing type 122, Spring Shell (Green), is a turtle-like enemy with a spring on its back used in Techno Hill Zone. Jumping into a Spring Shell from above will cause the player to be propelled upwards by the spring, potentially allowing them to reach higher-up platforms in the level. Compared to the yellow Spring Shell, the green Spring Shell's spring is weaker and does not propel the player as high. Jumping or spinning into a green Spring Shell from the side will destroy it, along with its spring. Therefore, a yellow Spring Shell is more suitable in situations where the spring is necessary for the player's progress through the level.
